The “Best of the Best” in Real Estate Finance

The purpose of The Forum is to create a spirit of cooperation among competitors (“co-opetition”) by building relationships and sharing insights among a small, confidential group of leaders recognized as the “Best of the Best” in housing finance. 

The Forum meets semi-annually across the country, where we take deep dives into important issues facing real estate finance .

In the 7th century, BC, Romulus, the first King of Rome, was trying to consolidate power by defeating his rival, Titus. Romulus occupied Palatine Hill outside Rome; Titus occupied Capitoline Hill, not far away. After numerous bloody battles, the Sabine women in the area urged the two leaders to find a way to co-exist peacefully. Between the two camps was a recently drained wetland that became the place that the rivals met, agreed to lay down their arms, and formed an alliance.  That place became the Forum Romana, the civic and commercial center of ancient Rome.
